With a 64-bit dual-core ARM processor at 1 GHz, XF CPUs execute 1,000 PID loops and complex calculations in less than 2 ms. Their high performance, compact design, DIN rail mounting, and direct 24 Vdc power supply allow their use in small-scale machines and embedded applications.

Another advanced feature of the XF series is the embedded Linux platform. Native to the CPUs, it allows for the virtualization of Unix-based applications, such as Docker, Python, and CODESYS libraries. This characteristic enhances the product's versatility, enabling the simultaneous processing of multiple data and tasks.
Features like OpenVPN, Firewall, and FTP ensure remote access and secure file transfer. To provide even more flexibility and agility for developing small and medium-sized applications, the XF325-W CPU also features an embedded Webserver (Webvisu), a resource for creating supervision and monitoring screens, developed directly in Mastertool, the free CODESYS-based programming software.

For applications requiring more inputs and outputs, the CPUs allow for the expansion of up to 16 I/O modules on the local bus. Designed for highly connected environments, XF CPUs have 2 Ethernet interfaces, 1 RS-485 serial port, 1 CAN port, 1 USB port, and 1 interface for a microSD card, supporting various communication protocols.
